Arch + XFCE + i3: Goddamn awesome for minimalists

Been lurking in the world of i3 last couple of days, initial plan was to use i3 with kde, bun than i realized, why man! why would you do that, why wouldn't you just use KDE with it's KWin window manager, what was the reason behind all this soul searching. It was minimalism, performance not depending on those heavy Desktop Environments.

Don't get me worng, these DE's do a lot of shit you don't need to take care of they are awesome as a matter of fact i've been a long time arch+KDE user myself, But there comes a point in life when you just know what you want out of your Machine, You know what you need, you want it to be yours, she couldn't be but you can be truly yours. Then why have all that extra junk that comes with your DE preinstalled, Hell you don't even use half of it anyways.
